THE NEED: Facing A Crisis

Everyone is a stakeholder of public education. It is a harsh reality that Louisiana's students perform at or near the bottom when compared nationally. We have failed to provide millions of children with the most basic skills needed to succeed as adults. We are facing a crisis because the quality of education our students receive affects the quality of life for all.

Dropout Rate

Only 67.3% of Louisiana’s children graduate from high school, ranking them 46th in the country in graduation rates.

Students in Louisiana ranked 48th in math; 48th in reading; 45th in the dropout rate and 47th in average ACT scores, a measure of college readiness.

Teacher Shortage

The number of teachers entering the profession in Louisiana is declining, The shortage is especially acute in math, science and special education classes.

Basic Skills

We have failed to provide millions of children with the most basic skills needed to succeed as adults.

The State of Louisiana spends $10,638 to educate each child in the public school system.

STEM Proficiency

STEM education is essential to the growth and economy of the US and offers careers that are in high demand.

School Choice

Student Scholarships for Educational Excellence Provides private school vouchers to assist low-income children in failing schools in New Orleans.

Public Opinoin

Less than one out of four likely voters rate the state’s public school system as “good” or “excellent”

AIE is dedicated to investing its care, resources and hard work in identifying and recruiting school leaders and teachers, offering high quality professional development at all levels, and designing engaging lessons to prepare all students for life in the 21st century.

What Our Clients Are Saying

Board Superintendent

I want to take this opportunity to acknowledge Michael Eskridge and his company, Advance Innovation Education for their partnership with the Allen Parish School Board. Our School District entered into a ten-week teacher certification boot camp for our non-certified teachers with AIE and Dr. Eskridge. The results of our boot camp were very positive and our teachers benefitted greatly form the program. Dr. Eskridge was very professional and knowledgeable, with practically all of our teachers improving their Praxis scores.

Praxis Exam for Teacher's

Advance Innovative Education (AIE) allowed me to connect with a fabulous tutor and teacher to prepare for the Praxis exams required for certification in Louisiana. The tutor adapted his teaching style to my individual needs and never fell short of challenging me to build my confidence. As a result of this program, I have a must clearer understanding of what the tests cover as well as where my current knowledge base is, how the questions are scored and how to actually study and prepare. THANK YOU AIE for the support to accomplish my goals!!

Beverly Jackson

Teacher, West Baton Rouge Parrish School Board

HR Director

Advance Innovation Education (AIE) was the missing link for a small group of teachers in West Baton Rouge Parish who were struggling with creating a clear plan of action to pass Praxis exams required to become fully certified teachers. AIE has become a true partner to our district in helping our teachers achieve their certification goals. The tutors/teachers come to our district weekly to meet with our teachers in small groups for Praxis tutoring sessions and provide individualized progress reports so teachers clearly see how they are improving. We are extremely pleased with the high level of support and customer service provided by AIE.
